Appointment Policy

Ace Vet Care is an appointment-based clinic. Booking an appointment helps us give your pet the time and attention they need, including a full history check and physical examination. 

Please try to arrive on time for your appointment. Occasionally, delays may happen if an emergency case comes in, we appreciate your patience. If you need to cancel, we’d appreciate a call at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the slot to another pet in need. 

For routine or major surgeries, we recommend booking at least 2 weeks ahead. This allows us to prepare properly and plan your pet’s pre- and post-surgery care together with you.

Walk-ins are accepted subject to availability, but we prioritise pets with appointments. Walk-in cases may experience longer waiting times, especially during peak hours. For a smoother visit, we highly encourage booking ahead.

At Ace Vet Care, we do not perform euthanasia on healthy or treatable animals. Euthanasia may only be considered in cases of terminal illness or severe, unmanageable suffering—always following a full medical assessment and in discussion with the pet owner.

Emergency cases are given priority. If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please call us immediately so we can prepare for your arrival. We do our best to attend to all emergencies swiftly while balancing ongoing appointments.

An additional after-hours fee applies for emergencies outside of our regular operating hours. This covers the extra resources needed to provide urgent care during off-peak times. We’ll always inform you of any applicable fees before treatment proceeds.

Full payment is required at the time of service. We accept major credit/debit cards, PayNow, and cash. A detailed estimate will be provided upon request. For surgical or hospitalisation cases, a deposit may be required prior to admission.

Please keep your pet leashed or secured in a carrier at all times. This ensures everyone’s safety and comfort. Kindly be considerate of other pets and owners, and notify our staff if your pet is anxious, aggressive, or unwell.

To help prevent the spread of infectious diseases, we ask that all visiting pets are up to date with core vaccinations. If your pet is showing signs of illness (e.g., coughing, diarrhoea, or vomiting), please inform us ahead of time so we can arrange appropriate isolation.

We are not equipped to take in stray or abandoned animals. If you find a pet in need, we recommend contacting AVS (Animal & Veterinary Service) or a registered animal welfare group for assistance and rehoming support.

We respect your privacy. Personal and pet medical information collected by Ace Vet Care is strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of veterinary care, billing, and communication with you. We do not share your data without your consent.
