Uni-Drive Poly-Ribs Belt
Uni-Drive Poly-V Belts, also known as Poly-Ribbed Belts, are precision-engineered, continuous multi-ribbed belts designed for compact, high-performance power transmission. They combine the flexibility of flat belts with the strong grip of V-belts, delivering smooth, quiet, and efficient operation even under demanding conditions.
These belts are used across a wide range of applications — from automotive systems (alternators, power steering pumps, water pumps, and A/C compressors) to industrial equipment, HVAC systems, and heavy machinery requiring stable, high-speed power delivery.
Design & Construction
Each Uni-Drive Poly-V Belt features high-strength polyester tensile cords and precision-moulded ribs running longitudinally along its length. This ribbed design ensures consistent load distribution, superior flexibility, and reduced slippage. The compact cross-section allows operation on small pulley diameters, long centre distances, and high transmission ratios — up to 30:1 or higher — with minimal vibration or noise.
A single multi-rib belt can replace several matched conventional belts, simplifying installation and maintenance while saving space. The design also supports idler pulleys and automatic tensioners, maintaining optimal belt tension and alignment with minimal stretch over time.
