Cooling Tower Fan Blade

Durable and aerodynamically designed, cooling tower fan blades ensure efficient air circulation and heat dissipation. Built for performance and corrosion resistance, they help maintain optimal cooling tower efficiency.

LF Series FRP Cooling Tower Fan

LF series cooling tower fans are designed specifically for cooling tower, offering distinct advantages over other types of fans. The blade enhanced for low sound operation, delivers maximum air flow and pressure capability at reduced speed.

LF Series FRP Cooling Tower Fans are purpose-built for cooling tower applications, providing performance advantages compared to conventional fan designs. The aerodynamically optimised blades are engineered for quiet operation while delivering high airflow and static pressure efficiency at lower rotational speeds, resulting in improved energy performance and reduced noise levels.

The range includes:

  • Cooling tower fans: diameters from 4.2 m to 10.06 m

  • Air cooler fans: diameters from 1.8 m to 4.5 m

  • Power station direct air-cooling fans: diameters from 4.5 m to 10.972 m

This wide coverage allows the LF Series to be applied across industrial cooling systems, HVAC installations, and large-scale power generation facilities.

Application & Usage

The LF Series FRP Cooling Tower Fans are designed for use in recirculating water cooling systems across a wide range of industries, including chemical processing, petrochemical plants, power generation, textiles, and metallurgy.

Multiple blade configurations—4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 blades—are available to suit varying airflow requirements, operating conditions, and performance targets. Custom-engineered solutions can also be provided to meet specific project or retrofit needs worldwide.

Fan Maintenance

Because cooling tower fans operate continuously in warm and humid environments, proper installation and routine inspection are essential to ensure reliable performance. A structured preventive maintenance programme will extend service life and minimise operational interruptions.

After the first week of operation, and thereafter at six-month intervals, the following checks are recommended:

Tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values.

Inspect the fan assembly for damage caused by airborne debris, improper clearance, or corrosive conditions, and rectify any issues affecting performance.

Remove any buildup of scale, dirt, or foreign material.

Ensure blade drain holes remain clear to prevent water accumulation.

Information Required for Cooling Tower Fan Replacement

Replacement fans can be supplied for most cooling tower brands. To ensure correct selection and compatibility, please provide the following details:

  • Fan diameter
  • Number of blades
  • Blade width
  • Hub diameter

To match the existing drive system, the following shaft information is also required:

  • Shaft diameter
  • Keyway width
  • Hub height
