Finance Executive

The Finance Executive is responsible for overseeing financial operations and ensuring the smooth running of financial processes within the organization. This role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. The Finance Executive will work closely with various departments to monitor budgets, control expenditures, and optimize financial performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, prepare tax returns, and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to establish financial targets and manage costs.
  • Perform financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for financial improvement.
  • Review and reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the development of financial strategies and contribute to decision-making on investments, cost management, and financial planning.
  • Provide support during audits, ensuring that all necessary documents and reports are in order.
  • Maintain accurate financial records of all transactions and ensure all financial activities align with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, SAP).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with different departments and explain financial information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) would be an advantage.
