- To provide participants with a thorough understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Vehicle Banksman.
- To equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely direct vehicle movements and prevent accidents in workplace environments.
- To familiarize participants with relevant regulations and best practices for vehicle maneuvering and communication.
You Will Gain Competency In
- Effective Communication: Skills for directing vehicle operators and site personnel clearly.
- Traffic Management: Understanding how to manage vehicle movements safely within work zones.
- Risk Assessment: Ability to identify hazards related to vehicle operations and implement safety measures.

Prerequisite
- Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
- Have basic knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Know how to use basic PPE provided at workplace
- Be able to follow written and oral work instructions
- Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2
- Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2
