WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course and learn the best food preparation skills

This course targets individuals practicing good personal hygiene is an essential aspect of food preparation.

Note: This is NOT the SCDF mandated CERT course. Please refer to our WSQ RFIW course if you require the CERT course that is regulated by SCDF.

Course Overview

The course will cover the following topics:

  • Practising good personal hygiene
  • Use safe ingredients
  • Handling food safety
  • Storing food safety
  • Maintaining cleanliness of utensils, equipment and service/storage areas

Learning Units​

Audience

  • Food Handlers (i.e. any individual who prepares food and beverage products in NEA/SFA-licensed eating establishments requiring the WSQ Food Hygiene Course).
  • Personnel primarily involved in the serving of F&B products to customers (e.g. managers, captains, waiters, cashiers, and other service staff)

Entry Requirement

Participants must be able to read, write and understand simple English,Malay,Tamil or Chinese
